who offers best personal loans

Hi, I am on the ICB list but the loan payments i missed were 5 years ago and my loan has since been paid. However, i'm still on the list.
Can some one please advise me on who will give a personal loans to someone who is on the list, considering i've a good credit history for the last 4 years. I only need to borrow €4K.

Have you tried to get a loan from anyone?

GE Money might be your best bet, or, if you have any savings, your local credit union.

When was the loan cleared? Any chance you can get your ICB record amended?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

The loan was paid off in full on May 06. The miss payments were in 2000.
And when I returned from travelling all was restored and i went on to pay back my installments and pay it off. Payments were being sent back but it went into my overdraft and they wouldn't transfer it to my loan a/c. I was unware of this until till it was too late.
I have looked at an example of an ICB record and it seems to only dispaly the last 24 months. Is this correct? My credit rating is very good for the last 4 years.

Anyway do I have to wait another 4.5 years until my ICB record is rectified?
