White Egglington Plaster finish

Our builder recommended this plaster finish for the house - said would cost extra but would be worth it.
Anyone know anything about this kind of finish or seen houses with it?

It is a very nice finish especially with timber or PVC effect timber finish windows; it is dearer to buy but the actual plastering costs should be the same!

Has anybody details on the egglington plaster finish, or can you recommend images to view on the internet ?
We are deciding on external rendering and it is critical to the design of the house so interested in this.

Hi Roadrunner. Under normal circumstances the contractor would have a few sample charts ........ you know, about 50X50mm. There are quite a few different texture finishes with polymer plasters. Otherwise he should get the plasterer to do a few samples ....... 0.25m2 on the wall....... if he has not got an earlier house to show you. Best of luck.
