White dust/residue from aerosol deodorants

Why is it that some mens aerosol deodorants when use them underarm have white residue or dust that falls on your clothes or bedding or towels

Can you do anything to stop this

Usent to happen with my old deodorant but happening with current one

Don't buy one that says "anti-perspirant". The 'residue' is the anti-perspirant element. Just get one that says "deodorant".
