Which provider replaces credit cards the quickest?

After a fraudulent transaction on my BOI credit card my card has been stopped and a new one will be issued in 3 – 5 working days. I am going on holidays this week so this leaves me a bit fekced.

I can’t believe there is no facility to offer an emergency credit card in a shorter period of time. Does anyone know of a provider who does offer this or who replaces a card quicker than 3 – 5 working days?


By the way lots of people I know have had a fraudulent transaction on their credit card lately so I would advise everyone to double check their accounts (and of course be vigilant with using their cards and storing their information).
 
I received my replacement AIB card THE DAY AFTER the original was cancelled. I don't know how they did it!
 
A brand new card involves a credit applications. No chance of getting this sorted in 3-5 days.

You could simply use your debit card when abroad.
