Hi, this is my first post and I am just wondering if anyone could help with my question.
I joined the Public Service scheme in Feb 2009 and had a couple of various contracts but was only made permanent in the last 2 years. Does anyone know which scheme I fall under?
My husband is starting a post in the next couple of weeks at age 54, thankfully! He will be on a different scheme I suspect?
Both non-officer grades by the way and I am 50 this year so don't expect much. My salary is 35000 but I earn about 45000 with shift work. I assume final calculations are just made on basic?
Also to further complicate matters, I have about 2 years service back in 1999-2001. What happens with this, it was under a different name to the name I use now although the same PPS number of course. Should I contact my place of work about this or somewhere else.
Any advice most appreciated. Thanks!
