Where to transfer APSS shares after 3 years?

I participate in my company (US multinational) Approved Profit Sharing Scheme, which allows us to invest up to €12.7k (income tax free) per annum in company shares. To avail of the tax benefits, the shares must be held in trust for 3 years with a broker selected by the company. At that stage, the shares must be either sold for cash, or transferred to a different broker nominated by the employee.

Every quarter, I buy shares in the scheme. Historically, I have just sold for cash. Now, I’d like the option to hold the shares with a broker of my choosing. I will likely hold onto the shares for the medium-long term (i.e. not making regular trades). Typically, there will be quarterly transfers from the company broker into my chosen broker.

From a value / practicality perspective, which broker(s) are best suited for this purpose? I’ve been trying make sense of the fee structures of various brokers, but I’m finding it extremely difficult to make apples to apples comparisons.

Thanks!
