Where to save E50k for 5+ years?

Hi, Where is the best place to put away E50k for 5 years? The banks seems to be offering little or nothing in the way of interest rates. Would the Post Office be a wise option? Would buying an appartment somewhere and renting it out be a good option? Thanks.

Also, buying an apartment and renting it out is not saving, it's investing in property....big difference.
