For a few years we used an accountant to file our tax returns. I decided this year to give it a go myself using ROS on-line. I've completed the 2009 return (not yet submitted) & have worked out we owe revenue about €500.
Previously when tax was owed our accountant suggested paying pension AVCs to reduce the tax owed. I'd like to do this again but don't know where to record this on my tax return.
I'd appreciate any advice on this so I can get the tax return submitted.
