I am currently selling my house and after paying off the mortgage and fees expect to have approx 100k left over. I am building a new house (currently at planning stage) and therefore will need to be able to access these funds over the course of the next year or so to pay for the new house.
I intend to use my own funds before drawing down the mortgage on the new house. Where is the best (and obviously in light of recent headlines safety is a big consideration) place to "invest" this money at the moment. I know Rabo give 5% but onlt on amounts up to 10k - is there anyone else that can compare with this rate?
