Where to buy disney classics on dvd

My friend hopes to buy her daughter dvd's of the disney films that she watched as a child on video as a gift for a milestone birthday. Where would you get the best value for 10-12 of these or a boxset with all the classics e.g. Cinderella, Snow white etc.? I looked on amazon but the box sets are quite expensive.

Disney classics are actually difficult to get at a 'cheap' price as they control their supply very closely, dvds are released only every couple of years and then go out of print.

You could try the following, I think I saw play had buy 1 get one free or a similar deal on some of them.

recently while in spain, all kids dvd were about 7 euro, the one I was looking for Mickey mouse clubhouse was 26 euro for one dvd.I nearly died, no wonder people download these days, a disgrace!
