Dont know how all this printing money works but what I remember is a wise ole neighbour telling me one time about how a inheritance he received was 'eaten away with inflation 'back in the 80's .
How do you protect savings to counter inflation ?
e.g. currently have 33k cash 33k in property 33k in shares ,should you move more savings to property or shares .(not actual values)
Shares probably look a safer bet as they are droping fast at moment and you could get good value but the problem is will they keep droping .I like to keep cash as if a nice property came up ,I could jump at it maybe I am better sit it out!!!
