I feel like my scenario should be fairly common - yet I can't find a clear-cut answer anywhere (I've searched here, boards.ie, revenue.ie and beyond.
I am a PAYE worker. I have savings outside Ireland to get a better interest rate. My gross interest for 2023 is under €5000.
How do I report this to revenue for 2023?
I see Form 12 regularly mentioned. I also see reference to being able to submit online. However, on revenues website when I go to "Manage your Tax 2023" it doesn't have any obvious location to report DIRT. I see multiple sections to report non-PAYE income but I don't want to pick the incorrect category and be taxed like standard income at higher rate with USC etc.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
