When will Tax Rebate cheque arrive?

We were owed Tax back from Oct/Nov just gone.
We received the online email in ROS re Balancing Statement confirming Tax was overpaid last year.
When can we expect the cheque?

Once you have received documentation confirming the refund you should receive the cheque before Christmas anyway.

I would contact Revenue though because they should be able to give you a more specific date at this stage.

Hi Sadie..I completed my tax return on Ros last wed 2/12 for y/e 06,07,08 cheque arrived in the post this evening. Seems to be very fast when done online.
