Forigve me for such a broad and general question - I'm just looking for some pointers...
I was in a employee stock purchase plan for a number of years and I recently cashed in my shares and now have about $5,000 in cash sitting in my eTrade account. I've just upgraded to a full account, and I see loads more options of things I can invest in.
Rather than have my money wasting away in Cash I'm wondering can anyone point me in the right direction. At the moment I do not want to invest in shares I'd perfer something a little less volitile.
What should I be looking at?
