What to do after finishing Account Tech course?

Hi,

I would be grateful of any advise on the following:
I have just finished the Acca CAT Course and want to know what the best options are to becoming a qualified accounting..can i do home study or would it be too hard? Firstly why I am asking about home study is because where I am living there is no place catering for final exams part-time. I dont want to move nearest place is 2 hours away. I have exemptions from the first 3 exams so thats a help or would I be better applying for a job as Trainee Accountant but will the pay be extremely low as I cant afford to take too much of a pay cut? I am currently on fairly good wages but have no prospects of getting any further in my job. I work in accounts doing all aspects for past 4 years.

where are you living that you are 2 hours away from a tuition facility? BTW you need to sit F4-F9 before your finals
 
Have you contacted CPA, they run part time courses all over the country. Alot of ACCAs in practice seem to be switching over to them anyway
