what should be provided in a rented house

hi folks about to sign a lease, i was wondering what should be supplied by the landlord when renting a house, say the likes of curtains or blinds for example? pots, pans, not too bothered about the pots and pans but would like there to be cutains or blinds hung.

It's up to the individuals signing the lease but most rented properties would have window coverings of some sort. Pots and pans are provided by some but by no means all landlords.

Of course curtains and blinds etc should be supplied - you are hardly going to decorate the LLs house for him?!

I would expect pots, pans, ironing board, iron etc. also. I requested a toaster and microwave from my current LL within a week of moving in and was supplied with them.
