What is Phibsboro like?

Have been thinking of setting up a small business for extra income in Phibsboro. Does anyone have much experience of this area?

Had also been looking at Rathmines, Swords and Blanchardstown?

Used to work in an office around there. Its a little run down now. Most of the bigger businesses that were there seem to have moved out and its all little transient business operated by the "locals".

As the previous poster has said the area has become a little run down. I'm sure Penny's were there for a long time but closed down. What kind of business are you looking at getting into?
