What is Cat 5 and Cat 8 wiring.

You'll need some RJ45 sockets and heads. Also a crimper to do the connections to the cables.

Plenty available online and you'll also find instructions on how to crimp the cable.

Thats the stuff alright.

Obviously you'll need to wired the cables into the sockets from behind but you should be able to buy cables pre wired for the router to wall connection, much easier than having to crimp your own.
