What does the JLC ruling mean

Is it the case now that if any employer decides that the JLC are not representing them then they are free to pay flat rate Sundays, remove any other shift related premiums tomorrow morning

The Organisation of Working Time Act also specifies a Sunday Premium but it doesn't state exactly what the premium is, it's not as clear as the JLC. If you are an existing employee your Terms of Employment haven't changed as a result of the case and you retain the same entitlements you had all along. The case really affects new employees who can now be taken on on lesser rates than the JLC's.
