Wexford/Waterford - holiday home/investment

I am thinking of purchasing a holiday home in the south east - ideally along the coast and if possible under 200k. I would hope to rent it out during peak season and use it for family holidays off peak. Any suggestions on particular locations which would be good for renting - I know the obvious towns like Rosslare and Dunmore East but the property is considerably more expensive there. There seems to be lots of new developmens springing up but am not sure of holiday rental potential in places like Gorey. Any advice?
Thanks a mill.

Holiday homes galore along the east and south coast of wexford. Not sure if you would getanything under €200k though. Plenty of holiday homes in places like Courttown / Riverchapel, just a few miles from Gorey, also places like Kilmuckridge, Blackwater, Curacloe, Carne, Kilmore Quay, Fethardon Sea and everywhere in between in wexford. probably best talking to a few estate agents in wexford, and going for a look yourself. No point buying a holiday home in an are you don't like

Tramore in Waterford is a bit cheaper i think but very commercialised and busy in the Summer. Not as pretty with the arcades etc but i wouldn't think you'd have any problems renting out during the Summer. The town itself is on a hill which i personally like. One or two nice little pub gardens over looking the sea but apart from going there on day trips i don't know the area so you'd need to check that out. Dungarven in Waterford seems really pretty but a bit more expensive. Depends if you're after somewhere in a town or a bit more in the Countryside.
