hi i got a psp and i,m trying to connect it up to my pc but it keeps asking me for a wep no ??how do i get this from my pc.thanks

You shpuld log onto your router's diagnostic pages... ususally starts with 192.168.1... Go to the wireless page and write down the WEP key from there.

Although I thought the PSP could ddetect your settings automatically to connect to the web??

Open a browser, (IE or firefox),in the URL address bar type in 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.100 and see do you get a connection to your routers configuration page. If you dont then you'll have to talk to the person who configured the router for you.
When onthe config page you should see a few options one of which should be wireless config or wirelesss security, somewhere under there you should have WEP configured, and the keys will be displayed.

FIrst off....do you have a wireless network ? or are you trying to connect via the USB option ? You should have had a cable with your PSP.
