I am not sure why the Ceann Comhairle is getting so heated. Hardly an act of vandalism as claimed.

I think it is a valid way of making a point although it could probably have been made in a less crude way. I think the Ceann Comhairle needs to leave his ivory tower. It made me laugh anyway and I am no Ming fan.

The guillotine of the water services bill is much more serious. I love Ruari Quinn saying that there was already 18 hours of debate in the Seanad. This is the same useless Seanad that you and yur collegaues wanted to get rid of a couple of months ago. Now however, it is perfectly adequate to debate a very serious piece of legislation.

Anyway, Merry Christmas to the politicians. We will see them all again on the 15th January.

It takes some doing to come out of an encounter with Ming as the biggest clown.

The whole story sounds like satire, if you told me it came from the Onion I'd half believe you.

This quote is the most stupid, yet awesome thing I've read:

“A member walking down and handing a glass of dirty water to a Minister...That is just outrageous and unacceptable behaviour and I have asked for an immediate meeting of the CPP to deal with this matter,’’ he added.

I'm no scholar of politicals as such, but I'm pretty sure I could come up with a heck of a lot of examples of TD behaviour that is outrageous and unacceptable.
