Water Filtration

Hi,

looking for users comments about drinking water filtration in your own house ... whether by an external filter or by a filter integrated into your pipe below the sink?

I live in the Dublin (Rathfarnham) area and am thinking of getting a filter method. Do you think they are useful and which method is best?

Friend of mine got a Crystal (or Cristal) water system in Galway. They cost €180 once-off and you can clean them yourself. He's happy with it.

What's wrong with using one of those fridge filters that you get in Dunnes, I say.
