Hi folks,

I recently had to remove Groundfos booster pump due to a seperate issue but now i have the oppurtunity to try and reduce the noise as much as possible. upstaris hotpress sitting on pre built wooden floors. I have 3/4 inch granite tile, 1/2 inch brown noise reduction mat. Haven't sorted flex pipes yet but will the brown/green hard plastic hose type do or are the silver flex ones the better option?

Whats the best combo here? piece of carpet + tile + noise reduction mat plus either silcon or rubber washers on corners of pump?
Do i need to try and then bolt/screw it down somehow or leave as it?

sorry the muliple questions, this is my oppurtunity to try and sort this once and for all.

Thanks

Mur

silver flex better as long as they are flexible and not strained.

don't screw it down tight

the location is a tough call, its like a boom box:)

You probably dont have room to encase it in a ventilated sound absorbing box.

I eventually moved mine down stairs onto the concrete floor and encased the qualplex pipes to/from it inside a length of 4 inch wavin which I then filled with expanding foam.
Insane springs to mind:)
