washing machine issue help needed

My washing machine taking too long on any program to complete a wash.Currently it is 3 hours to do one wash cycle. Has any one any ideas what the problem could be thanks.
 
there could be a problem with water intake . was the machine moved recently? hoses at the back may kinked. most , but not all, new w/machines now only need a cold feed, its to do with 'A' energy ratings, but if yours is new and has a hot water inlet then you must fit a hose to it using a 'Y' tee piece as some of the programs wont work. You can buy this 'Y' piece in your local h/ware for less than a €5. have you cleaned the the filter at the bottom recently? try these
 
Hi jfd, could be a number of things...

Could be that the outlet hose has moved, reduced water pressure to the house is causing issues or maybe the motherboard is on the way out... if you could give a little more information, you'd get better advice.
 
Hi All

Here some more info on washing Machine It is a Bosch , Classic 1200 . It a cold feed washing machine . Checked the outlet hose and this appears ok

We think the issue may be due to hardwater - we now using calgon with each wash . will this help or should I try something else

I have a Bosch fridge/freezer and found them excellent on customer care. You could try ringing them to speak to one of their repair people. They may be able to give you advice over phone without placing a service call.

I found www.mastercare.ie to be very helpful also if you want to give them a call.
