What sort of connector is on the machine side of a washing machine water inlet hose. What do you need to open/close them. My machine has something stuck in it and have to disconect hose to take it out far enough to prop up

Ah, I thought you meant on the inside of the machine. Those are the standard connections used on all machines. You'll be able to undo those by hand.

Thanks Leo, it was a bit too tight for hand but sorted now. Is hand tight enough when replacing? Mine had been tighter.

No problem. Yes, hand tight is enough. Before moving the machine back in, turn on the water and observe for a few minutes to see iff there are any signs of a leak.

Yes have done that.

I need to cut a small piece off the surrounding press to allow the electric cord be taken out completely. It was originall forced in but that means pushing up against the draining tray

It is a very tight area so need very small saw. Any ideas?. I have to consider if any vibration from saw etc will cause any problem.

Hope this is clear hard to explain, take pic if necesary
