Have you part of your mortgage with some other lender?
Have they agreed to extend the mortgage so you will no longer have a SO mortgage?

If so, why do DCC want anything?
 
Anyway all I want is full ownership, so I can stop paying extortionate rent to DCC every month when I could be paying off my mortgage.

Hi Lori

If you read the Key Post on the topic, you will see that you are not paying "extortionate rent". You have a very cheap loan from DCC.

You already own 100%. The "rental" bit is misleading.

You have a great deal as it is. Stick with it.
