wall or ceiling mounted shower head

I am considering my shower fixtures at the moment
Was hoping to have a fixed shower head and seperate hose in each shower
This will be operated from a single thermostatic valve with diverter

I can't decide on whether i should have the fixed shower head
wall mounted or ceiling mounted

its a standard ceiling height in a bungalow

Questions
from a plumbing point of view is it a big deal either way?
which way have you found to be aestically more pleasing?
Which is more secure??
which is more practical to use??????????????

i saw some nice heads in B&Q, by john lewis i think

i got the big rain shower head and diverter valve, 2 hoses off it , so one just clips on the side low down, i have it on my thermo vale, looks well, but they are not cheap,, yet to have a shower in it, now moved in yet
