Voluntary Redundancy & Jobseeker Benefit

I took voluntary redundancy from the Public Service last year. Am I entitled to Jobseekers Benefit based on my PRSI contributions or does the fact that I volunteered to leave my job affect my benefits? I received V.R. package €70,000 approx.
