Husband has 22 vodafone shares (remember eircom) and gets 99 cent into account every so often. Are they worth anything, how do you sell them? We know nothing about shares.
I recently sold Vodafone shares and have run into a problem. The cheque issued in settlement was "payable" to the 3 named shareholders. I now find that this cheque cannot be lodged to my bank account and have been told it can only be lodged to an account in the 3 names noted on the cheque. Has anyone experienced this and if so how was the issue overcome?
