vodafone wont reply to emails in 24 hours like they advertise, they say the 6230 i is not quadband, the vodafone website says it is, they say that i can roam in mexico, yert i cant???????????

they told me to hire a phone???????? i am with them for 6 years, and some monthly bills of 500 euro as i travel alot and pay for the roaming costs?????

Can you get your details to a friend / colleague in Ireland to try to work the issue?

Expect not a lot from Vodafone, as your experience mirrors my own.

well at this stage i think i will have to suffer it,,, if i call vodafone it a case of please hold,, anyhow i think i have lost all faith in them now,, and its funny to read their code of practice,

just sorry i did not switch over to 02 when i was at home for the week

I have found Vodafone roaming to be very patchy based on a small amount of travel.

In the US it sometimes messes up my message centre details when joining new networks - resulting in not being able to send texts. I don't understand why this happens. It has happened 2 or 3 times out of the last 8 or so that I have been there.

I was in China recently and it just failed to join any network, no matter what I did to it. This was a major problem. I sent an email to the office who told me that Vodafone "said it would work in China" . . . despite the fact I was telling them that it wasn't working. Their solution ? Ring Vodafone support in Ireland and they will help you out. Yeah, like, ring them on what phone ?

At that point I bought a local Chinese SIM pack and worked away that way.

I don't expect much from Vodafone based on these experiences.
