Hi all,
Read this post carefully, because I am not looking for information on how to reset an unknown password in Vista.
I am looking for information on how to remove the option to reset the password in Vista if a local user password is entered incorrectly. 'Reset password' appears in white text just below the password box. It needs to be taken away somehow, but I can't see how. I haven't found anything in Group Policy yet.
Google has produced thousands of results, but all of them give information about how to create the password reset disk. I want to take that option away altogether.
I couldn't find any information in the Vista Security Guide.
Any suggestions?
