I've just got a new laptop, and all is going well.
However, it's running on Vista, and the Vista toolbar at the bottom is a really off putting black. This black also extends through the start up menu as the background.
I've tried various tweaks, including making the toolbar more transparent, but the horrible black persists, albeit it a streak of whatever colour is added from the personalisation menu.(eg black with a hint of blue/red).
Last night I changed it to an original windows appearance, where the toolbar is gray, as is the menu backdrop, but it all looks very clunky compared to XP or Vista.
Has anyone found a solution to this: I'd love blue, or some other inoffensive colour!
Are there perhaps some compatable skins available to download?
