Hi,
We have a 3 year old Viessman Gas Boiler, situated outside.Just been serviced by a 'service engineer' from Bord Gais who went off leaving the water heating control at zero.I have put it at 31/2 which still isn't heating the water to a high enough temperature, and I'm not looking for scalding. Can anyone advise what is the correct or recommended level to set it at.I'm a tad suspicious as the water was heating fine before he arrived!! Thank you

We have a Viessmann VITODENS 100-W gas boiler.

The Domestic Hot Water goes from 0 (Off) to 6,. We have it set to 5.
The Heating goes from 0 (Off) to 6,. We have it set to 5.

Have you got the manuals?

Hi Joe and thank you. Yes we have the same and have the manuals. I looked it up but it just showed the controls. I know the simple answer was just turn them up if you want more but was a bit puzzled because I didn't remember the controls being up too high. I thought it was around 2 or 3 before the service. But they weren't heating the water very well, so thought I'd ask. You have solved the issue so I will put mine up. Thank you again for taking the time to help. Regards
