Videos pausing slightly every 5 seconds when watching You Tube

Hi all

I've just got broadband at home and was surfing through YouTube and watching some videos. The videos load no problem but on playback there is a slight pause every 5 seconds or so.

I have the 1mb product and I've done a speedtest and am reading 860kps...which I would have assumed was fast enough.

Any suggestions to improve...my brother in law has the same service locally and it works fine on his PC.

Any thoughts...?
 
Could be anything - connection, contention, processor speed, video card, other stuff running in the background.
 
I've tried letting it all stream and then run again to no effect. Also it's the only thing I have open and it's a reasonably new sound and video card...all games play no problem and avi files from my camera.
