Does anyone know of any freeware that will capture video streaming ?

Downloads streams in the format been streamed and then you can burn to dvd etc

If its youtube etc try this site

Put your link in and then you can download it

Use both options and works most of the time

I think the (open source) VLC tool can capture video streams.

I use Video Downloadhelper Firefox add on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006

Works very well and then use VLC to play the file.

www.zamzar.com is good too for converting youtube and other filetypes. They are emailed to you when done.

Yes - but the original post looked for freeware that allowed it - the options given above only allow a limited capture e.g. 5 mins before you have to pay a reg fee
