VHI or BUPA

I have just received my renewal notice from VHI which is costing €932.62 for myself & hubby (pLAN B).

Can anyone tell if switiching to BUPA is a good idea - do they have plans that you can compare like with like?

Any advise would be welcomed.

In my personal experience VHI are a disaster from an administrative point of view (claims, renewals, changes etc.) and are generally at least marginally dearer than BUPA for similar levels of cover. In contrast I have found BUPA great to deal with on the admin side (including one claim processed promptly and without any hassle). Of course others will have their own experiences to report. However price and administrative convenience were the reasons that I switched from VHI to BUPA a couple of years ago.
