Health Insurance VHI changing my plan from one plan to enhanced care

Hi,

VHI made contact to say our plan is changing. We are currently on One plan 500 and they are changing it to Enhanced care 350. We pay about 180/month for 2 as, 1 student and a teen.
We have been on the same plan for years, partly based on advice from this forum.
We live in the NW and one plan was adequate for our needs, with access to centres in NI if required.

I have tried to compare on the HIA site but it's not very clear if we will be better or worse off on the new plan.

Would be most grateful for any insights.

Trying to compare the two does not seem possible because it looks as if the One Plan 500 has already gone from the HIA website or is there a different name? There only appears to be O+ Plan, One Plan Family and One Plan. Also when you say 'for 2 as, 1 student and a teen' do you mean 2 adults, a student and a teen?

VHI should be able to go through the policies with you and confirm the differences in premium, cover etc.
