I am considering setting up my own internet business. I plan on purchasing a new computer/laptop from which I will pretty run the business. My plans are in the very early stages and I would say I wont be launching the business for at least another 6months. However, I wish to purchase the computer now.
My question is is there anything (laws, regulations, etc.) to stop me from registering my business name and registering for VAT in order to get the computer vat free, even if the business wont be active for at least another 6months??
