Vanguard and Royal London enter Irish Pension market

I can confirm Standard Life offer execution only services via their direct clients team. In mid 2023 I set up two regular savings products tracking Vanguard index funds. One for child’s education fund and another for my wife and I. 101% allocation of over €500 per month, early exit fees apply on a reducing basis over first five years and a 0.9% AMC. I even cashed in a previous product I had direct with Zurich as they had a 1.2% AMC and wouldn’t offer a 25% reduction in fees to match so I moved. Small % on a small amount of money overall but still a 25% saving which will be compounded over a decade plus. I don’t like paying more fees than I have to. If I could move again for a lower AMC than 0.9% I would or I would at least direct new contributions there and let my STD Life policy run off on the early exit fees.

But this thread is about pensions.
