Vague detail on Cert. of Compliance

In the process of buying circa 10 yr old house. Planning permission granted for "single story extension to side and rear, two story extension to side and internal alterations".

Extension work was completed as per Planning granted, but the Certificate of Compliance does not mention the 2nd story extension to side, so we don't know if this was built after the Cert. was issued! Is this a big problem?

Cert. of Compliance also does not mention specifically what internal alterations are being certified. The attic was converted and a conservatory added, but neither are specifically mentioned in Cert. of Compliance!

Should the Cert. of Compliance specifically detail exactly which elements are being certified? Can we insist Vendor gets these Certified before signing contracts?
