I am trevelling to New York in about two weeks and plan to bting my sony PSP with me to take away from the boredom on flights etc. I am just wondering if I will be able to charge it in the states as they use a lower voltage. (I know I will need some sort of adaptor for the socket itself)
Will I need a transformer of some sort. Also my G/f has a GHD and was wondering the same..

Look at your PSP charger and if it says 110-240v on it, you only need a plug adapter to use it in the states. It should be OK.

Check the GHD for similar.

As a matter of interest could you tell me how long the battery will last in a PSP, would I get 4 hours out of it ??

Just about but it will depend on what you are using it for. If you are watching movies or listening to music, you should be alright. If you are playing games, it will depend on the game and how often the game accesses the UMD. Listen to the buzzing sound as you are playing to guage this.

Thanks a lot, yeh it would be for watching 2 movies on the memory stick
