I'm hoping to upgrade an old Potterton Suprima 80 boiler with a new condensing boiler. I reckon the current system is about 15 yrs old, maybe more.
The system has been serviced in each of the 4 years we've been here, but I'm concerned about the effect of existing iron oxide sludge in the system on a new (expensive) boiled and was wondering if I should get it flushed as part of the install. Alternatively, could just fit a sludge extractor (about EUR 120 extra) to clean and permanently keep the system clean/cleaner?
