I know that this was done in the FAQ's a few years ago but does anyone have an idea of the up-to-date additional costs charged in 2006 ie land registery, solicitors fees, surveyors etc. Does anyone have any recommendations also?
Also, if one individual is a first time buyer with a 100% morgage (from last year) and the other person already has a morgaged property- how do the banks tend to view it were they were to join together for a joint morgage (and what would be the max percentage you could borrow)?
Finally is there any leeway at all for me (the first time buyer) with stamp duty if I go in with a secomd time buyer?
