Unwaged discount on rail fares?

Does anyone know if you can get a discount on your train ticket when you are unemployed? The Irish Rail site doesn't seem to have any information on it, nor can I find any information anywhere else online.
Students get discounts, am I being terribly naive in hoping that the unwaged do too?
