Unemployed Status Enquiry.

I earn enough to keep our heads above water - just. My wife of 15 years is British and has not enough work history in either the UK or Ireland. Can we get her onto an unemployed list so that eventually she will have a year of unemployment and hopefully the possibility to get onto a CE Scheme or FAS training to qualify her care nursing experience.

There isn't an "unemployed list" in Ireland - she will have to apply for Jobseeker's Allowance which will be means-tested on your income.
