Underfloor heating Question

IS it possible to have underfloor heating in your extension but not in the rest of your house?

and if so how expensive is it relative to normal radiators?

It is but it is not ideal. UFH works at low temperatures (circa 20-30) and rads operate at aprox 40-50 so your boiler would be working for both systems and would not be operating as efficently as if you had in the whole house. that leads ontoyour second point regarding how much does it cost to heat and the answer is it depends but more than conventional ufh.
Electrical is not nearly as efficent and hence costs quite a bit to run.
