As per title, I have a UB Visa Debit Card expiring at the end of the month. I have been notified that my UB accounts will close next March and I have already made alternative arrangements with a new bank and have opened accounts with them but have kept my UB accounts open and active.

I assume UB send out a new Visa Debit Card? Anyone in the same boat recently?

We will write to you later this year to give you 6 months’ notice before we close your credit card account. At the end of the 6 months’ notice period your account will be closed, and you will no longer be able to use your card. You should aim to clear your balance before we close your account. If you are unable to do this, you should continue to make repayments in line with the terms and conditions of your credit card agreement. Failure to do so could have consequences for you, for example negative impact on your credit rating.

Ah, you asked about debit cards, not credit cards.

I presume that they will but it will become inactive when your account is made inactive by them.
