UK resident - options for investing in Ireland?

Hello
I am Irish-born, resident in the UK. I'll be receiving an inheritance of about €350,000 from a deceased parent. As a non-resident what options, if any, would be available to me for keeping the money in Ireland and investing it there. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Why do you want to invest it in Ireland?

My gut feeling and it's only a gut feeling is that the UK tax treatment of investors is much better than the Irish.

What is your life plan? To stay in the UK? To return to Ireland?
