Order an official birth, adoption, death, marriage or civil partnership certificate from the General Register Office (GRO) if you need a copy or want to research your family tree.

I know you can do a 10 year search for divorce papers & it costs £60 or thereabouts; not sure if they do it for marriage certs.

Theres's another site called FreeBMD, it takes some time to trawl through it, so the more info you have the better.
